Collegiate church of Saint-Bonnet-le-Château
Since the mid-15th century, the Collegiate Church overlooks Saint-Bonnet-le-Château.
Much more than just a religious building, come visit this witness of the political, architectural and artistic life of the Forez in the 15th century.
Strolling around its cobbled streets, let's discover the civil and the military architecture of this fortified town. Then walk up to the Collegiate Church which houses in the lower chapel mural paintings, dating back to 15th century. They are some of the best preserved samples of mural paintings in France.
